Adrian Bond

Composer

Adrian Bond is a Maryland composer, electronic musician and guitarist known for his film soundtracks as well as his recordings and live performances. His film scores include cult-favorite and award-winning independent film, Redneck Zombies, and the film, Loop, which debuted at the Cannes Film Festival and the FAIF International Film Festival in Los Angeles, as well as numerous short and experimental films.

Adrian composed a highly-acclaimed soundtrack for the 1927 silent film, Metropolis, and was invited to perform it live at Baltimore's renowned Senator Theater, at the Creative Alliance at the Patterson and at the Metro Gallery. Though best known as an electronic musician and soundtrack composer, Adrian is also a highly-regarded acoustic and electric guitarist. Known for his solo work, as well as his performances with Joanne Juskus (pillowbook), he deftly traverses between the world of folk and electronic music.

Adrian has also performed extensively; including opening for electronic music pioneer, Thomas Dolby, and on National Public Radio's All Things Considered. In 2012, he was asked to compose a suite of musical pieces for the 50th anniversary documentary of the Maryland Federation of Art, a not-for-profit arts organization with two unique art galleries located in Annapolis, MD.

Adrian’s latest project is an extension of the MFA suite, the Node Point series, all composed on acoustic guitar, with a performance by an all-guitar orchestra. Release of this series is slated for 2015.
