Erica Rowe has a BFA in Film & Video Editing from the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City. She currently works in both New York City and Washington, DC.
Erica is a freelance film and video editor who can adapt her talent to many genres and styles, from documentaries to shorts, to advertising to comedy. As an editor, she brings each story alive in a visually stimulating way, while remaining faithful to the director’s vision.
Recently, Erica has also delved into writing. As a writer, she has the opportunity to flex her creative muscles and let her imagination breathe. Growing up in a bilingual home and television work at téléMiroir in France, has enabled her to work and write in both English and French.
She is skilled with the following software: Mac OS X and Windows platforms, Final Cut Studio, AVID Media Composer, Pro Tools, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Draft, Celtx, MS Office, iLife Suite, and iWork.
